Welcome to A9 Tours & Travels. These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer", "You") and A9 Tours ("We", "Us", "Company"). By booking a tour, package, VIP service, or vehicle rental with us, you agree to these terms.

1. Services Offered

A9 Tours provides the following services:

  • Tours: Guided sightseeing tours and day trips.
  • Packages: Comprehensive holiday packages including accommodation and transport.
  • VIP Services: Executive transport, priority access, and luxury experiences.
  • Vehicle Hire: Full vehicle rental services with or without a driver.

2. Bookings and Payments

  • Booking Confirmation: A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit or full payment as specified at the time of booking.
  • Payment Terms: Full payment must typically be made prior to the start of the service. For custom packages, a payment schedule may be agreed upon.
  • Currency: All prices are quoted in the currency specified on the booking page. We are not responsible for currency fluctuations or bank charges.

3. Customer Responsibilities

  • Accuracy: You warrant that all information provided during booking (names, dates, contact details) is accurate.
  • Travel Documents: You are responsible for carrying valid identification (NIC, Passport) and any necessary travel permits required for specific locations in Sri Lanka.
  • Conduct: We reserve the right to terminate a service without refund if a customer's behavior is deemed abusive, dangerous, or illegal.

4. Vehicle Hire Specific Terms

If you are hiring a vehicle (Self-Drive):

  • You must possess a valid driving license accepted in Sri Lanka.
  • You are responsible for any fines or penalties incurred for traffic violations during the hire period.
  • You are responsible for returning the vehicle in the same condition as received, allowing for normal wear and tear.
  • A refundable security deposit may be required before vehicle handover.

5. Liability and Disclaimers

  • Third-Party Services: Some parts of your package (e.g., hotels, third-party attractions) are provided by independent suppliers. We are not liable for their acts or omissions.
  • Personal Belongings: We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings left in vehicles or at tour sites.
  • Force Majeure: We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, strikes, road closures, or government restrictions.

6. Health and Safety

Customers must disclose any medical conditions or mobility issues at the time of booking. While we prioritize safety, participation in tours and activities is at your own risk.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations vary by service type. Please refer to our Refund Policy for detailed information on cancellation tiers and refund eligibility.

8. Privacy

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We only use your data to facilitate your bookings and improve our services.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Jaffna or Colombo.
